Other Joys....

Found this book title on an outing with girlfriends today... thought it was pretty funny.  Today was a fun day filled with some of those other joys in life... you know, "middle age," (whatever that is....)


Our fun filled day began with coffee...



and hearing about recent adventures...

Israel...

Egypt....

plans for European vacations...

things like that.


Then it was OFF, to shop...







for nothing in particular...


just something...
         "NEW" to wear to lunch.


and we found lots of somethings.!

After a shopping spree, it was off to lunch at a local diner.

with our new friend... The Valley Girl.

We said our goodbyes... 

                    and were off into our own little worlds again... 

                                                                                    waiting... dreaming...... of the next time 

                                                                                                 our band of Dilly's hit the town.

and then I met up with another crew!

What a day!
