A Moment in Time

Today 
is 
the
first 
day 
of the rest 
of your life...
    (some old, white headed, gray bearded sage once quipped) 

I have heard the saying for years!

It's a bit of a "no-brainer."
Don't ya think??


I think he meant that
today is a new day....

the time to begin
living
life
anew.


It's true...
Today is a brand new day!

The old is past...
there is more ahead..
it is the first day of the rest of your life!

especially if you have just been through a storm...
or a tidal wave....
you have to stop and reset your gyroscope
on the things that matter most.

The picture is of a place where sand and water meet.
It's a moment in time,
captured...
as if for one moment the world stood still,
Everything came to a screetching halt.


Sometimes you must take a moment...
and consider where you are at and where you are going.

IT might be time to
make a change..
make a difference..

make things right...
to turn from sin...

REPENT!

Look to God
who made the heavens and the earth
the land and sea
and all that lies within it.

To see his goodness
his mercy
his love and grace.

follow Him
know him more and
love the one who made you
and gave you life...

and do good..
not evil here on earth.

It's a new day... and
another opportunity,
even in difficulty,
trial
and
tribulation...

(which, by the way is everywhere,
just look around and you will understand.)

...o enter into the
ebb and flow
 of life on
earth,
and
discover
how
to
be
a blessing
to others.
